Farm & Forest Explorers
This very popular outdoor nature class for children ages 2-5 had record attendance in Fall 2019. However, when COVID-19 hit, the in-person program had to be put on hold. To continue nature education, we launched a video series that featured the many ways children can explore and learn from their outdoor environment. From bird watching to identifying plants, an interesting topic engaged children each week. We’re hopeful we can revive in-person classes this fall!
We thank Mrs. Downer, Ms. Beall, and Mr. Brown for all they did to keep our community connected to our outdoor environment!
Something New Saturdays
During the spring and summer months, our staff created virtual enrichment classes with our community. Each week, children enjoyed Yoga Stories, Spanish, music, art and sing-a-longs. These delightful videos ranged from how to make a nature mandala to yoga on a farm! Thanks to our wonderful staff for sharing their talents.
