Your generous contribution to our Friends & Family Annual Giving Campaign had an immediate and positive impact on our school. Thank you for helping us raise more than $34,000! Your investment in our mission helps us provide our students with a foundation for the future, a holistic education that will continue to serve them

  • Outdoor wash stations

#GivingTuesday = Community Comes Together

On December 3, Alumni, friends, students, faculty, staff and grandparents rallied to make #GivingTuesday a success! The Challenge: When 100 people donate on #GivingTuesday, a generous group of alumni parents will donate $3,000. The results: 100 donations and $14,000 raised in ONE DAY!

Heartfelt thanks to our #GivingTuesday Challenge Gift donors and to our community for coming together to support our school and students.

We love Grants!

Butler Montessori applied and received the following grants in 2019–2020

  • MDSE Aging Building Grant: $6,357
    • This was used to partially fund the new HVAC systems in Classrooms #1 and #2 and the camp office.
  • Corona Relief Grant:  $10,000 from the State of MD to partially offset the losses that we incurred during the pandemic.
  • MSDE Textbooks/supplies grant for $9360.
  • MSDE $8000 grant for Security improvements.

Spring Online Auction 

Despite its mid-COVID launch on March 23, our community rallied around our Online Auction. Thanks to your participation, the auction raised $4,000 for our Naturescape Playground. Everyone contributed to our success, from our dedicated volunteer-led Auction committee and local business donors to our students and faculty who created beautiful class auction items.
