Grandparents’ and Special Friends’ Day

Join us on Monday, October 14 and experience one of our students’ favorite events...a morning with a grandparent or a special family friend! Visitors enjoy a sneak peek into the children’s world at Butler Montessori.

This year, to enhance our Grandparents’ and students’ experience, we’re running four sessions.

• Primary & Elementary Classes (Children Ages 3-12):

  • Session A: Visitors of Students with Last Names A-M, 9:15 – 10:15 a.m.
  • Session B: Visitors of Students with Last Names N-Z, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.

  Intermediate & Fairhaven High School (Grades 7-11)

  • Session C: Visitors of Intermediate & High School Students (Grades 7-11), 9:15 a.m. Time with Intermediate/High School, visit with siblings in other grades afterward

   Young Children’s Community (YCC) (18 months-Age 3):

  • Session D: Visitors meet on the playground 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
  • Before visiting the YCC, you can visit with siblings from other classes.

  Nido (Babies)

  • The Nido community does not participate in Grandparents' and Special Friends' Day.

RAIN DATE: Tuesday, October 15, 2024 (same times)

We will email by Sunday evening IF we need to use the Rain Date

What if my child doesn’t have a grandparent nearby? Children love to host visitors during this fun Butler tradition. If a grandparent is unavailable, parents may invite another family member or friend to come that day. We want to make sure each student enjoys this day with a loved one.

ASSISTANCE: Our campus is very hilly with a lot of stairs. Please let us know if you will require assistance with your RSVP by September 30th!
