Tuition Schedule
In an effort to provide greater accessibility, Butler Montessori's tuition costs remain lower than other independent schools in the area. In addition, the school offers payment plans and financial aid opportunities. Tuition covers your child's complete educational experience, including all classroom materials and local field trips.
"My daughter is a curious, funny, friendly and helpful kid. She is also extremely opinionated, stubborn, and driven. Butler is the perfect place for her to be her whole self and thrive. The interpersonal skills that the children learn are very apparent, especially when "out in the world." ~ Christina C. Current Parent

Each time I arrived to Butler's campus over the 10 years that my son attended, it filled me with a sense of peace. A break from the hustle and bustle of life, from the desk and computer screens, urban buildings and concrete and traffic. It was a momentary escape for me, but for my son it was a home away from home.
One I was both proud to send him to, and jealous that he spent his days like that!
Fast forward to now, and while that same sense of peace remains, it is now shared with a sense of purpose. Of ensuring that others can experience that same sense of peace and education. And that the legacy of the past 50 years becomes the foundation for another 50.

Tuition Assistance / Financial Aid
The Tuition Assistance Committee’s mission is to allow every committed family access to an affordable Montessori Education. The Committee awards Tuition Assistance considering several factors, including the family’s need as reported through the Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) application, Butler Montessori’s Tuition Assistance budget, as well as other pertinent information.
In line with our mission and dedication to our families, Butler Montessori is committed to maintaining affordable tuition. Guided by fiscal responsibility and the Board's oversight, we stand as one of the most financially accessible choices among independent and Montessori schools in the Washington, DC metro area.
Families who have been part of the Butler Montessori Community for at least one school year are welcome to apply for Tuition Assistance. First-year families, new to the school, will not be eligible to apply.
For questions about financial assistance, please email Scott Chidakel at [email protected].
